Opening Day Comes Late

So after a lot of frustration with the first store I ordered a box of Topps 2011 Opening Day from, I finally got a refund enabling me to buy a new box over ebay.

That came in the mail yesterday, and I quickly posted my Needs and Trade list here.

Fortunately, I pulled this card from the box

Always good to get the one Hall of Fame Met in a card set, though it is the Mascot Hall of Fame, as opposed to the one in Cooperstown.

But seriously, I completed about 92% of the set after breaking a hobby box, a rack pack, and a single pack so that is not too bad.  I also did pretty well with the Presidential First Pitch and Spot the Error insert sets.

The one thing that disappointed me was that two of my three 3D Opening Day Stars cards were yankees.

Other than that and the lack of an ultra rare relic hit, I was happy with the box, but I'll be even happier when I complete the set!
